SKYDIVE Chicago

Tommie recently took our interns to Skydive Chicago for a tandem jump. They were all smiles!

Here is Tommie with his horse Joker at the Mahaffie Stage Coach Stop in Kansas as they get ready to perform with the re-inactors.  

We've been working overtime here at the Wahl Equestrian Center / Double G Farms since we took over managing the facility. There are lots of shows here, with the Western Store, Concessions, and horses we are constantly doing something! Here is Tommie and the crew unloading a truckload of Guardian Horse Bedding. It takes over an hour just to get the 28 pallets off the truck. Guardian has the best bedding for horses. We use it exclusively at all of our shows here, plus we use it when we travel with our horses. They make it easy to use, handle, and dispose of. Plus with low dust, absorption and fluffy qualities it keeps the horses quite comfortable and clean. People don't think about having to unload pallets that weigh over 1,000 lbs and moving them to the barn. We should be getting a load of hay soon too. We've been really busy training. We have a new batch of interns, so we've been trying to get them settled in and learning our ways. Here is Sugar, our American Cream Draft horse, practicing with our interns and a VIP from Wahl in Germany, Christine. We just got Sugar a bareback pad so we can get her used to vaulting and bareback riding. She loves it! You can see how comfortable the girls are too. Christine is the one standing up on Sugar. They had lots of fun. Way to go girls! Ride Fast... Take Chances! karen

Tommie has a little fun and shows what is possible with his American Paint Horse, Ace during a demo at the California State Fair. 

Tommie gives the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls and Jenny V. a lesson on roman riding during the CA State Fair. It was the first time for most of them. Jenny has been working and training with Tommie for the past 2 months and is Joker, Ace and Pokerjoe's groom and prop hand for the shows. She has been learning hands on through our intern program and has been an incredible hand for us and the horses.

Here is Tommie at the entrance to the California State Fair with his horse, Breyerfest Celebration horse, Joker. He will be there for the month performing at the Cavalcade area with others like Clay Miers, the California Cowgirls and the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls. Stop by and see them if you can. 

Tommie sent me this photo Roman Riding at the California State Fair in Sacramento. He is there with his horses until Sept. 4 doing shows at 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Here is Jon and I rehearsing the Chariot race at Breyerfest. This was a nice big arena. We got to turn on the speed here. I'll get more photos of the show soon. Ride Fast... Take Chances! 

Here is one of the lines for people have Tommie sign their Joker Model horse. People stood in line for hours just to have Tommie sign their horse. Tommie made sure everyone who was in line got their model signed. The new Joker Breyer models are going for $50 to $75 on Ebay and at Breyer collector stores. If you are looking to get one, check out our website soon. We'll have something going on there for you to get one. Details coming soon! 

Here is Tommie signing the Joker Breyer model. He signed 1000's of them this weekend at the show, plus performed 4 acts in 3 shows. Joker is an awesome horse and performed along with his brother Ace, and Pokerjoe.  

We just finished performing at Breyerfest in Lexington KY. It was an awesome time. We had lots of things going on and were non-stop all weekend. More pictures to come.... 

We shot this nice photo of Tommie and Joker the other night. We did a photoshoot for the upcoming DVD we have coming out about Joker. It's full of never before seen video clips of shows he has performed at and things he's done. He is such a proud horse. You should be able to get a copy at Breyerfest next weekend or here on-line. Joker rocks!

Casey, from Priefert Texas Thunder, lets one of our interns, Tara get a ride on one of their Percherons. We also got a lesson from Jason Goodman on shoeing the big boys and how he takes care of them. They tour with 2 Semi's and 8 horses. Thanks for the great time guys! Ride Fast... Take Chances!

Here is Pete Peterson from the Budweiser Clydesdales taking a try with my Chariot team of Zeus and Apollo. They are a bit smaller than the Clydesdales, but they can move out! Another team driver, Jon Wearly will be driving the Chariot team of Caesar and Spartacus during our show on July 14 and 15. He used to drive for Bud too, but now drives for Disney in Orlando. It is going to be a fun race! See you at the show! 

Here we are next to the Budweiser Hitch. 6 amazing Clydesdales. It is Tara, Tom (my dad), Lori, Katy, Jenny, and me. I believe that is Mitch (the Clydesdale) behind us. These girls have been working and training really hard, so we like to get out and have fun too! We just got done with the BLM mustang adoption and ran out to see the Clydesdales.
